Bengaluru FC beats FC Pune City by 3-1




Bengaluru FC defeated FC Pune City in 23rd match of ongoing Hero Indian Super League 2017. Beating the opponents on home-team, Bengaluru’s football club registered its fourth victory in this season of ISL. The team played this soccer match against Pune’s soccer club at Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, which is situated in Pune.

The game started with audiences witnessing bitter confrontation between the two teams. Pune’s team succeeded in acquiring dominance over the game at 35th minute. Young footballer Adil Khan scored the first goal for FC Pune City. Soccer players of Bengaluru FC tried their best to level the result in initial 45 minutes, but failed to do so. The match score remained 1-0 till the end of first half of the game.

Pune’s Baljit Sahini scored second goal for the team, but its wasn’t counted in main score as the umpires and referees declared it an offensive move and issues red card to the team. Failing to strengthen the lead with the uncounted 2nd goal, Pune’s soccer players put their best efforts to maintain the lead. Bengaluru’s football team confronted hard to equalise the game result and achieved success in doing so at 64th minute.

Bengaluru’s popular footballer Miku played pivotal role in taking his team’s performance to the next level. The overseas soccer player scored first goal for Bengaluru’s team at 64th minute and the score became 1-1. Gearing up to attain lead in the match, the same footballer scored 2nd goal at 78th minute and Bengaluru FC dominated the match with 2-1 result. On other side, Pune’s team started struggling hard to equalise the score.

At 96th minute, Sunil Chhetri scored goal for Bengaluru FC. That was the third goal for newly introduced ISL team in today’s match. With this goal, Bengaluru’s team strengthened its lead 3-1 and resisted rival team from scoring more goals. Pune’s team faced defeat for second time in this league. Playing four matches till now, the team won 2 games and lost 2 matches.

Bengaluru FC will play its next match against Chennaiyin FC on 17th December 2017. The soccer game is about to be played at Sree Kanteerava stadium, which is located in Bengaluru. FC Pune City is scheduled to face FC Goa in its upcoming match which will be played on 23rd December this year at Jawaharlal Nehru stadium in Goa.
