Chennaiyin FC defeated FC Pune City in 15th match of ongoing Hero Indian Super League 2017. Chennai’s soccer team scored one goal in the match while Pune’s football team failed to score a single goal and lost the ISL game. The match was played on 3rd December this year Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, which is situated in Pune.
The game began with tougher competition between the two sides. None of the team succeeded in scoring its first goal in initial phase of the game. For the first 45 minutes of the match, the result 0-0. Footballers of both teams tried their best to make their team acquire lead in the match, but failed to do so.
The second half of the match was also quite interesting to watch. For first 30 minutes in 2nd half of the game, no team managed to score its first goal. Chennai’s footballer Henrique Sereno scored the first goal for his team at 82nd minute. Chennai’s soccer club acquired 1-0 lead in the game and the rival side struggled hard to level the score.
Entire efforts of the FC Pune City to score one goal and equalise the match results went in vain. The team could not score the goal and lost its 2nd match on its home-ground. On 22nd November this year, the team had faced defeat against Delhi Dynamos FC in its first match at home-stadium.
Chennaiyin FC will be playing its next match against Atletico de Kolkata on 7th December this year. The soccer game is going to be played at Jawaharlal Nehru stadium, which is located in Chennai. FC Pune City is scheduled to play its next match against Jamshedpur FC on 10th December 2017. The match is going to be played at JRD Tata Sports Complex stadium, which is situated in Jamshedpur.
