Jamshedpur FC scores no goal in opening match against NorthEast United FC




New ISL team Jamshedpur FC performed poorly its first match of ISL 2017 and failed to score any goal against NorthEast United FC (NEUFC) in the game. Playing the first soccer match in Hero Indian Super League, Jamshedpur’s football team managed to resist the opponents from entering into their area of goalpost and prevented the rival team from scoring any goal in this match which was played at Indira Gandhi Athletic stadium located in Guwahati.

Facing the tougher competition in domestic soccer league of India, Jamshedpur football club started the game with an average performance. The team didn’t showcase any hurry in scoring their first goal. NorthEast United FC too majorly focused on defending their goalpost from the invasion of antagonist team. Maintaining 0-0 result till half time, no team succeeded in impressing their fans gathered in the stadium.

Though the soccer players from both sides tried their hard to take their team at leading position in the match, the defense of both teams was strong enough for resisting the opposite team from entering into area nearby the goalpost. Audiences crowded in the football arena watched a tough competition between the new team (Jamshedpur FC) and an experienced football team (NorthEast United FC).

Exhibiting the strength in opening game, Jamshedpur FC started its ISL journey with a satisfactory performance. NorthEast United FC impressed its fans and supporters by stopping the adversary team from scoring any goal in this important match. With an average performance, NEUFC and Jamshedpur FC bagged consecutive positions in ISL points table. Both teams are expected to maintain consistency in their performances in upcoming matches of league.
