Mumbai City FC faces defeat against FC Pune City




In the eleventh match of ongoing Hero Indian Super League 2017, Mumbai City FC faced defeat against FC Pune City. The ISL soccer match was played on 29th November at Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex stadium, which is situated in Pune. Mumbai’s team could score one goal in the game while Pune’s football club managed to score two.

First half of the game was quite beneficial for Mumbai’s team. The football club successfully took lead in initial 45 minutes. At 15th minute, Balwant Singh scored first goal for Mumbai City FC and the score became 1-0. Mumbai’s soccer team retained the lead till the end of first of the match.

Pune’s footballer tried hard to level the scores, but their efforts didn’t pay off in the initial phase of match. After 73 minutes, FC Pune City achieved success in equalising the score. Emiliano Alfaro played crucial role in taking the performance of Pune’s team to next level. Scoring the first goal at 74th minute, FC Pune City equalised the score 1-1.

Playing on home-ground, Pune’s soccer club did not disappoint its fans and supporters by just leaving the game with 1-1 score. At 93rd minute, Alfaro once again showcased excellent performance and scored his 2nd goal in the game. With this extra goal, Pune’s team took 2-1 lead in the match and registered its 2nd victory in this season of ISL.

Pune’s football club is scheduled to play its next match against Chennaiyin FC on 3rd December this year. The match is about to be played at Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, which is situated in Pune. On other side, Mumbai City FC will confront with Kerala Blasters FC on December 3. The match is going to be played at Jawaharlal Nehru stadium in Kochi.
