NorthEast United FC vs Bengaluru FC Preview, Date, Venue, Time

NorthEast United FC is scheduled to face Bengaluru FC in the 19th match of ongoing Hero Indian Super League 2017. The new ISL side will be confronting with the well experienced football club at Indira Gandhi Athletic stadium, which is situated in Guwahati. The game is slated to begin at 8:00 PM on 8th December this year.

Till now, NorthEast United football team has played 3 matches. In its first match, the team failed to score any goal and ended the game with 0-0 result. NorthEast United FC failed to win the second football game, but made a comeback into the league with the victory in third soccer match.

On other side, Bengaluru FC too has played three matches in this edition of ISL. The team won initial two matches, but faced defeat in the third one. Earning 6 points from 2 victories, the team is securing top position in ISL points table. NorthEast United FC is in the bottom zone in ISL standings.

Competing against Jamshedpur FC on 18th November 2017, NorthEast United FC played its first match of ISL 2017 at its home-stadium. Though the team received maximum support from the audiences while playing the match on home-ground, it could not score any goal and also restricted the rival team from scoring any.

NorthEast United FC played its 2nd match against Chennaiyin FC on 23rd November this year. The match was played at Jawaharlal Nehru stadium in Chennai. Playing on home-ground, Chennai’s team gained maximum support from the spectators gathered in the stadium and scored three goals. NorthEast United FC could not score any goal and lost the match.

On other side, Bengaluru FC kicked off its ISL journey with a spectacular victory in the opening match. The new ISL team confronted with Mumbai City FC on 19th December at Sree Kanteerava Stadium, which is situated in Bengaluru. Scoring two goals in that soccer match, the team acquired strong lead and restricted the antagonist team from scoring goal.

After winning the initial game, Bengaluru FC continued its victorious journey with a surprising win in its next match. The team faced Delhi Dynamos FC in the second game which was played on 26th November 2017 at Sree Kanteerava stadium. Bengaluru’s team scored four goals and Delhi’s soccer club could score only one goal in the match. With 4-1 lead, Bengaluru FC registered 2nd victory in ISL season 4.

After registering victories in consecutive matches, Bengaluru FC faced defeat against FC Goa in the third match. Though the game was played at home-ground for Goa’s team, the home team struggled hard for the victory. Bengaluru’s team scored 3 goals in that match while Goa’s soccer club successfully scored 4 goals and won the match with 4-3 result. That was the first match in which Bengaluru’s football team faced loss in this season of ISL.
