NorthEast United FC vs Mumbai City FC Preview, Date, Venue, Time

NorthEast United FC will take on Mumbai City FC in 28th match of ongoing Hero Indian Super League 2017. The soccer match will be played at Indira Gandhi Athletic stadium, which is situated in Guwahati. As per the schedule, the football match is going to begin at 8:00 PM IST on 20th December this year.

Confronting with Jamshedpur FC on 18th November 2017, NorthEast United FC played its 1st match of ISL 2017 at its home-stadium. Though the team had an advantage of maximum support from the audiences while playing the match on home-ground, it failed to score any goal. However, the team also managed to resist the rival side from scoring any goal in that game.

NorthEast United FC played its second match against Chennaiyin FC on 23rd November this year. The match was played at Jawaharlal Nehru stadium in Chennai. Playing at home-stadium, Chennai’s team received maximum support from the audiences gathered in the stadium and scored 3 goals. NorthEast United FC failed to score any goal and lost the match with 3-0 result.

In fourth match, the team competed against Bengaluru FC and didn’t succeed in scoring any goal. Bengaluru’s football team scored one goal in that match and resisted the antagonist team from scoring any. NorthEast United FC struggled hard to level the score, but failed to do so.

NorthEast United FC faced Kerala Blasters FC in fifth match. The team could not score any goal in that game and faced defeat against the host team. Kerala’s soccer club scored one goal in that match and maintained the 1-0 lead till the last moment of the game. Kerala Blasters FC beat the guest team with 1-0 score.

Playing the first match against Bengaluru FC, Mumbai City FC started its ISL journey with an unsatisfactory performance. Competing against with the new team, Mumbai’s football club did not manage to score single goal in that match. On other side, Bengaluru FC attained 2-0 lead by scoring two goals and defeated the opponents at Sree Kanteerava stadium.

Mumbai City FC competed against FC Goa in its 2nd match of this league. Facing ISL 2015 runners-up in the soccer match, Mumbai’s team managed to score 2 goals. The opposite team scored one goal and struggled hard to equalise the scores. Failing to level the results, Goa’s team ended up scoring 1 goal. With 2-1 result, Mumbai’s team bagged win in the football match for first time in this season of ISL.

Confronting with FC Pune City, Mumbai City FC played its third match on 29th November this year at Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune. Mumbai’s team scored one goal while the football club of Pune could score two. Finishing the game with 2-1 result, Pune’s soccer team bagged victory in the match and Mumbai City FC faced defeat for 2nd time in this year’s Indian Super League.

Mumbai City football team played its fourth match against Kerala Blasters FC on 3rd December 2017. Confronting with Kerala’s team at Jawaharlal Nehru stadium in Kochi, Mumbai’s football club succeeded in scoring one goal. The host team too scored a goal in that match. The score remained 1-1 till the last moment and none of the team managed to register victory in the match.

Mumbai’s soccer club took on Chennaiyin FC in the next match which was played at Mumbai Football Arena on 10th December this year. Chennai’s soccer team couldn’t score any goal in that football game while the home team successfully scored one. With 1-0 result, Mumbai’s football team rejoiced its 2nd victory in this edition of Hero ISL. The team is expected to perform well in its sixth match which it will play against NorthEast United FC.
